DAZZLE, known as the world’s WORST magic assistant is less than perfect and has her own unique personal style! To the dismay of her Magician, she messes up every trick and shimmies and high-kicks her way through his very serious magic act. It is only by accident that she becomes the world’s BEST assistant for misdirection. With a dose of self-confidence, Dazzle realizes that she is not just an assistant assisting some boy; she’s a comedian, bringing audiences laughter and joy! With her fantastic fun flair, she adds something special that sets their act apart from the rest!
Lyrically and visually magical, this comedic story captures the true meaning of self-love, determination and resilience.
About the Author
Alex Arnold Lee is a fourth-generation magician, professional dancer, and educator. It’s difficult to see where Alex ends and Dazzle begins. Creating this father-daughter comedy magic act was somewhat of a fluke, proving that sometimes the most successful things in life happen when you stop trying, start laughing, and embrace your uniqueness. You can see this comedy duo on television’s “Masters of Illusion,” in theatre’s around the world, and at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, where the act originated June 9th, 2003.
